• Size: The pattern creates mittens designed to fit adult women’s hands. Each finished mitten is 4.5” wide, 11” high and has a 3.5” high thumb.
• Yarn: Any size 6 (super bulky) yarn. You will need approximately 130 yds to make 2 mittens (65 yds for each mitten). I used Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in the color “Mellow Mauve.” This yarn is size 6 (super bulky) and 100% polyester. A skein is 220 yds / 201 m and 10.5 oz / 300 g. I used less than 1 skein for 2 mittens.
• Crochet Hook Size: K/10.5 (6.50 mm).
• Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers and a measuring tape.
• Terminology: The pattern is written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
